gods and titans and creatures oh my!

There are 6 main gods born from the Titans Cronos and Rhea. The youngest one was, Zeus, the king of all gods and godesses and ruler of mankind. Cronos ate all of his children fearing that they would try to overthrow him. But is wife, Rhea, had given him a rock wrapped in clothe instead of thier youngest son, Zeus. Rhea and her mother, Gaia, godess of earth, hid baby Zeus in Mount Ida on the island of Crece. He was raised by Gaia until he was grown up. Then he went to Tartarus and freed Cronos' siblings. In thier gratitude, the cyclopses gave him thunder and lightning. With these he was then able to free his siblings and defeat Cronos. After the battle Zeus and the rest of the gods locked away Cronos and all the other Titans in the under-underworld, Tartarus. Gaia, seeing how these were her children, sent two of her other children, Typhon and Echinda, to defeat the Olympians. Zeus soon defeated Typhon and locked him away under a mountain but left Echidna for future heroes. This was when Zues and his older brothers, Hades and Poseidon, decided who got to rule what zone of earth each would rule. Zues got the earth and the Heavens, Poseidon won the ocean, and Hades ruled the shadows, or underworld. Soon after Zeus married Hera, godess of family. In some accounts they had the god child, Hercules. In others a mortal and Zeus had him, seeing this as a threat Hera sent two snakes to kill the young Hercules, but when Hera went to go check if the dead was done, Hercules was found playing with the dead snakes as if they were child toys. Zeus had many, many children with Hera, almost 150+. To this day, Zeus rules on Mt. Olympus to this very day.
